Kidney Transplants and Covid: Would love... - Kidney Transplant
Kidney Transplants and Covid
Good morning, I know plenty of people who have had Covid - both friends & out of state family members. We’ve managed to avoid getting it - wear masks when in public, got vaccinated. Counting the days till February 18th when I can get my 4th. I had a living donor transplant in 2009. She feels great & has also not had Covid. Her husband refuses to get vaccinated.
How about you? Have you & your loved ones remained healthy ?
Have a good day. A balmy winter morning here 16 degrees ! 😊
I had my transplant in April 2020. I have not had COVID. My son and husband have not either. We are all vaccinated and work and go to school. I wear a mask when I'm out, but my husband and son do not. I have had 3 vaccines but no antibodies. Not sure if I'm able to get a 4th one. My dad is also had kidney transplant in 2009. No COVID for him or my mother.
