Good day everyone , im new here . My husband have chronic kidney disease on stadium 5 . In 14% now . Im seeking any generous people may help us to donate ? And i alao would like to be a donator fir him as well , can anyone share experience how to donate and how you feeling after the transplant ( living with one kidney ) Thank you for help

Hi Deedee. Have you contacted your nearest transplant clinic? Is your husband on the transplant wait list? That would be a good place to start. If you would like to donate to him, have you been tested? I received a kidney 5 years ago, and my donor is doing very well. All the people I know who have donated a kidney are healthy. that's not to say no living donors face health issues because they donated, I just know of any. What I hear over and over is that living donors say it's one of the best things they've ever done. The transplant center also makes sure any potential living donor goes through a very comprehensive health test before they would be allowed to donate a kidney.
