Have the same. Here is what was done.1. My Nephrologist refferred me to a gastro specialist (part of his medical team). This is to eliminate any stomach only issues (bloating, reflux, off/on constitution, protruding stomach, searing pain, etc)
2. Gastro gave me a few meds (I don't provide these info as people tend to take this as prescription that will work for them also). It cured some but not all.
3. Adviced me to eat 5 small meals instead of 3.
- if the pain was 10 previously, improved to 5. Yet still an issue. So by process of elimination - it pointed out to balancing of meds.
4. Which is what my Nephrologist started to do.
- pain is now down to 3. And still working on it (3rd month and counting).
Point is - consult you medical team, they are the experts. We are experience sharer.
Thanks for reply, I got refered dietician, didn't get any results I'll ask if I can go to a gastro next clinic in a months time. Hopefully get some relief, when it's bad can hardly walk around.
My Nephrologist didn't use dietitians - he said they don't do differential clinical analysis most of the time.
He uses only specialists in his team. They jointly do the analytical diagnosis. They all synchronize treatment and medication - end goal is to protect the kidney.
