I wouldn't let this 'Go', ask for a FULL Bladder / Kidney/ Urinary Tract MRI Scan. Explain that you are, Very Worried, and ask for Your Doctors help.... To be honest, there are, a considerable number of possible causes, for this, some 'Nasty' others 'Not so Much'.
Does your urine, have a 'Foul Odour'? Equally important, are you in any pain? If either are so, get Insistent! Have you had a Blood Test... just a thought.
Thank you for your kind reply. No there is no foul odor but there was a sudden pain yesterday in my transplanted site when i was passing urine and it was random.
Can you please suggest me some blood work, that i can suggest my doctor? I had done cbc and creatinine and that's it.
I'm thinking more, along the lines of, perhaps a Bladder/ Urinary Tract infection, rather than just Bacteria in your wee. In other words, maybe a Problem, that is more 'Systemic' and Not necessarily 'confined' to your excretion system alone. Just a thought, sorry to ask but, are you constipated? This can put pressure, on the Bladder, and increase your need to wee- it certainly Happens to me.
Other 'Things', that might cause Strange/ Apparently Random problems include... Have you changed you Washing Powder/ Liquid, Shampoo/ Conditioner, Make Up (I don't know if your a Girl, or not.) After Shave/ Perfume even Air Freshener or your Dog/ Cat's Food. Has your Grand Child changed Nappy brands, yes even that.... The list of variables is, just plain, Endless but maybe worthwhile checking.
Sorry I can't be, more Help Nazzz, can you please 'Let Us Know' what, if any, answers you get. Wishing you well, take care of yourself.
I am one year post transplant and still have frequent uranation problems, I have to go to the washroom every hour, it's a big problem for me especially when I am outside. My transplant doctor has sent me to a urologist and they have given me medication to relax the bladder. They told me it's a bladder problem. The medication does not work that well and I have been struggling with this problem now for more than a year. You can try taking flaxseeds, it's good for frequent urination. Good luck, hope you feel better soon. God bless.
Dear Nazzz, sorry for that, but I think this brought about due to the amount of liquid taken. Before transplant I used to take only one litre but soon after operation I had to take more than two litres due to the medication. But after six months I returned to normal. Now I'm making 12 years. I have problem.
Sorry you're having to go through that. Having to go every 60 minutes or less can be very disruptive, especially at night.
Maybe Myrbetriq can help. I've had the same issue since my transplant 10 months ago and I've had some relief after starting on 50 mg of Myrbetriq once daily back in January. My bathroom trips have gone from about every 1.5 hours (daytime and night time) to around 2.5 hours daytime and 3.5 hours nighttime. I even had 4 full hours of uninterrupted sleep last night! So, far, I haven't noticed any unpleasant side effects and, more importantly, it seems to be working.
In the meantime, if you can, avoid drinking on an empty stomach or drinking around bed time. It might slightly reduce the frequency of your bathroom trips.
