anyone ??
I honestly Don't Know...but, I suppose, Most 'Things' ARE Possible. Maybe put a 'Question' to, one of the Doctors.

I was having issues with my parathyroid before my transplant as it was releasing too much calcium. Before I could get the surgery. I got called for my transplant. I do take thyroxine 25 mg once a day. Since the transplant you would be amazed how the body gets it’s ducks in a row. I would seek out an endocrinologist who could check everything out.
I am now 25 months out from kidney transplant and was told by my one doctor that my immunosuppressive medications can alter my thyroid function and that there is a slight risk of developing thyroid cancer. But I do believe that having diabetes put me at risk of thyroid abnormalities. Check with your doctor and go over all your medications! GOOD LUCK.
I am 20 years post transplant and do have issues with my parathyroid and my labs will show high calcium values. I also have had nodules on my thyroid, but that is something my doctor told me that everyone gets. Best thing for you to do is ask your doctor/transplant team.
