I just joined as I am trying to find answers for health issues a friend has after her first transplant that doctors still can’t find the reason. My friend had her first transplant 3 months ago and it looks like all is well with it but she has been back in the hospital several times because of trouble breathing and her hands and legs are swallowed. The doctors can’t find why as all her tests look good. However her blood pressure is 140/26. They did EKG and all looks normal. Does anyone had similar issues the few first months after receiving a transplant? Thank you!

I had 3 rejections in the first 1 & 1/2 years. I'm 7 yrs post transplant. I'm not a doctor, but when I was on dialysis they wouldn't let me leave when my BP was under 50 on the lower number. Your BP seems pretty low at 26. You better ask your doctor. Also until your kidney is working at optimum, you might retain fluid, as I know I did. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK
Wow!! It is most likely her medications. Perhaps the dr should try some different ones. There are many side effects with all of the meds, but there are alternatives.
Unless that is a typo, the blood pressure does not seem right. Im wondering if she is not in a certain state of shock or even possible bleeding out from a loose surgical clip? I would be getting other opinions.
Didmor does sje have a drainage tube installed after sergery?because thats a major reason for swelling up especially in abdomin and anckles🙏 Its early post alot of times it just take time but a drainage tune helped me for about the first 3-4 weeks 💪🙏😝
