So sorry to hear about your creatinine. I am sure you are very concerned. What did your doctor say about the level? Perhaps they can adjust your medications. Good luck!
Sorry to hear this. You must be worried. Talk with your doctor. Might need to readjust meds, drink plenty of water. My husband runs 2 all the time and is ok. Prayers for you.
I am 6 months post-liver transplant and have my transplant team concerned about my creatine also. Mine averages around 1.45 They keep telling me to drink more and more water. It seems to be trending lower now from what it was a few months ago.
I am 19 years post transplant, and as everyone is saying, make sure you are drinking enough water. That is the one thing that is an easy fix.....WATER. Before you worry that it could be something worse, make sure you are hydrated. If I don't drink enough the day before I have labs, it will raise my creatinine.
Hello!!! Was told to me that as time goes on this will happen. But I am 2 years in an I fist started of at 0.95 creatinine level and now today my creatinine level is at a 1.17 so they are watching it as time goes on they did all the my labs to make sure and I had to get a ultrasound done to make sure that the kidney is not trying to reject I know my girlfriend was in the summer love situation but we need did her one year ultrasound right before she was at one year of our anniversary they saw her levels raising up a little bit as well and they did a ultrasound and found a spot on her kidney she is now on a higher doses I've her medicine and she's on a really high dose of prednisone. But I think you should just talk to your doctor and make sure you're getting your lab work done. congratulations cuz that is wonderful to have a strong healthy transmit working for that many years.🙏🙏💜🙏💜
Naniesh, your medical team should be consulting with you on this to either adjust your medication or make other recommendations. Sorry to hear that your creatine is increasing. Hope your doctor will be able to make adjustments. Best wishes,
The medication dose for you prob need to be adjusted, but ONLY your transplant nephrologist can make that call. Please seek their advice and care as soon as possible. Best wishes.
