Yesterday marks 1 year since I started dialysis. Some good and some bad days but mostly good. I'm patiently waiting for someone to step up and offer that gift of life, a kidney. Good luck and God bless all of you.

Hang in there & keep your head up. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I was on nocturnal dialysis for 2 &1/2 yrs. before I got transplanted almost 7 trs ago from a deceased donor. I have met her family after 2 yrs of emotions & now I have a wonderful extended family, I even walked my donor's daughter down the isle at her wedding.

Yes some days can be a little rough , just remember to never let dialysis take over your life, just a little Hiccup and God's plan let's stay on the course it will work out in the end schedule your vacations go on trips, if you can still work part-time or maybe full-time just schedule everything around your dialysis either before dialysis and I know a lot of people that scheduled it after dialysis as well. I was on 10 year's I made it an held on!!!!! 2yr goin ony new kidney.

and tried to and tried to get some exercise in maybe twice a week I always walk around the track either before dialysis or late in the evening around 4:30 or 5, in summer when sun was goin down, and the winter I walked around basketball court inside a Rec Center just to keep my bones strong and to keep my heart strong as well so when I did get that call for my kidney my recovery wouldn't be as hard on my body. And it wasn't I can't complain I had a couple of rough nights but I got back into the swing of things maybe about three to four months later after my transplant maybe just couldn't push it as I used to but I was moving I was driving I was walking I was able to take deep breaths cuz after my transplant I was out of breath a lot didn't do too much walking but now two years and went back to work after 10 years just borrowed time nothing too stressful still make sure I'm taking my meds in the morning and at night at the same time and I still get my exercise in so just hang in there it is on the way God hears your prayers. 💜🙏
