I was on dialysis for 10yrs, I just put my name on the list 2016 in June. I received 8 phone calls, with opportunities for a new kidney, by the time I get to the hospital they were either no good or, I didn't get it if I was the back up. My last phone call Sept 5th 2016 was the one. 2 yrs an running a few hiccups along the way. An a couple of hospital stays. But from 2006- 2016 no more dialysis. I have returned back to work. Not doin what I was but something small, an trying not to over do it. They say you will start to feel like ur self again, But when you have KD, SINCE U WERE 13TEENYRS OLD AN 2 BABIES NOT FULL TURN, MY LAST CHILD AN WENT STRIGHT ON DIALYSIS AFTER HIM, AN SO MANY FISTULA surgerys, on my arm. An then I DECIDED WAIT (GOD) decided for me in 2016, ok.. I HAVE OTHER PLANS FOR U, I NEED U 2 LISTEN, NOW MY STORY HAS TAKEN ANOTHER TURN, TRANSPLANT BACK 2 WORK PARTIME, KIDS ARE OLDER 13, 19 .

TRYING 2 GET ME BACK @40, ITS NOT EASY, INFECTION I HAD, MY MEDS Progaf (S.A. hair thinning, aching feet, Tremors in your hand, face ECT.... Night sweats. BK virus ECT...... 🙏 sometimes a little depressed, overwhelming, but I KEEP pushing...... 🙏🙏🙏

Wow. I hope I never have to go on Dialysis. Dialysis wasn't available back in 1960

so had to have the transplant or not be around. My hair is thinning (maybe from age)

Just keep thinking positive. That goes a long way with your health. This site is amazing.

I never had anyone to talk to about how I felt about the transplant and things have have

gone through since.. God Bless. Keep positive thoughts.
