I have a confirmed date on June 12. That’s a few weeks away. I’m also battling with cramming to finish my sophomore year.
(Reading other posts on this forum, really keeps my mind in peace. Seeing other people of all ages in the same boat)

Wishing all the best for you!
Number 1 thing do not STRESS!! Get a planner and list all the things you have to complete before the end of school year. List according to importance and due date. Hopefully that’ll help. I wish you all the best as you prepare for your procedure. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated!
That’s awesome you have a confirmed date! My son had his transplant in the middle of his freshman year. Hang in there and do the best you can at school but focus on your health first.
Best of luck to you! Let us know how you are doing after your transplant? I am 18 years post transplant and it is a real miracle!
Best of luck on your surgery, happy to hear that this community has helped you along the way.
Best of luck to you! I am happy you have a confirmed date.
I was in the middle of my sophomore year as well I had my kidney transplant! Your health comes first, school comes second. That was a hard lesson I had to learn because I was always so frustrated about being behind or getting school done on time. You’ll get there! Just take your time, and put your health first. I’m so happy for you that you have a surgery date! You’re gonna do great. I’m 5 years post transplant and it’s a miracle!
Congratulations on your surgery date. School will always be there. Your recovery and learning to care for your new pet(kidney) is priority. I am a nurse of 40 years and was a donor to my husband. Even though they told us what to expect regarding all the lab work and Doctors visits post op we were not quite prepared for the discipline required. Things have settled down but it did feel like training a new puppy for a while. Best of luck, keep us posted!
