Kidney function took a dive in June. Ended up on dialysis (peritoneal) and headed to transplant training class end of this month. Seems like a long road ahead, but I do have a live donor (if all goes well). My best to all.

Hang in there! I am about two weeks post transplant and the whole process has not been as bad as I thought it would be. The key for me has just been to take it one day at a time and just accept that this is the plan God has given me. I would encourage you to get involved in the advocacy groups as well - lots of great info and there are a lot of people who are where you are now.

Thanks for your reply. Good to know the process was not so bad. Fear of the unknown...so grateful for the blogs.
