Hello I have had two kidney transplants. The first only lasted 18 months back in 2003 my mother donated it to me and my second was donated by a great person who sorry to say is no longer here on earth with us but Kyle the donor is in heaven and will always be kept in my heart for all he has given me. Cause he not only gave me a kidney but also a pancreas and that cured my diabetes. I got my second transplant in 2008
