Allergic reaction to alcohol

Just wondering if any of you have developed an allergic reaction to alcoholic beverages. I'm not much of a drinker but a glass of wine occasionally would be nice. Ever since my transplant 19 mos. ago I have a severe reaction to any/all alcohol. My doctors said they have not had a patient with this. Thanks.

Don't drink. Hope they are looking after you.

Oh yes being followed with the greatest of care. Believe me, alcohol doesn't mean anything to me but just glad to find out about the allergy so I can be preemptive. I've never been a drinker; socially & only occasionally so I don't miss it.
