My husband is on PD dialysis. He started out on the 1.5 solution and now they have him doing 2.5 and 1.5. Sometimes he has to do two 2.5 solutions. He always scratching stating that the green bag is making him itch more. I put lotion all over his body and sometimes he takes Benadryl. Does anyone else have a problem with itching and what do you do about it?

Check the phosphate levels in his blood, I presume this might be high.....it has symptoms of scratching.
