PD and Intermittent Fasting

Hey all, I have a quick question here. I am attempting to lose weight for transplant. I was curious, has anyone done Intermittent Fasting and had it work for them on PD? I am just wrapping up my 1st day of IF and I don’t want to waste time with it if it won’t work.

I have intermittent fasted for years. Did I lose weight from it...nah, I do not think so but now I am so used to it. I only eat from 11am to 5:00. 6 hours, two only meals and no snack because I am in a big crunch to lose weight.

When I went on a renal diet in 2018, I lost 50 pounds in six months. For the most part I kept it off until I started dialysis, I have gotten sloppy and actually did not think I would get called this soon. I initially lost weight when I started and thought, heck this is great I can eat what I wanted... nope. I got lazy and did not care so much until. I had started to slowly take the weight of on June 4th when I reached an all time high. Now I am in a crunch. I have lost 8, have twelve more to go. And the only way I am going to do that in a month is to cut down to 1000 cal or less. Intermittent or not. It's calories in, exercise out. I going back to the pool on Thursday. I cannot do dialysis and pool.....way too much.
