How do you guys dealing with swelling eyes? After 2-3 days without dialysis I've got "huge" bags under my eyes especially when I waking up. During a day it getting little less. Its also affect on sight. Average weight gain between dialysis is 1-1.5 kg with 65 kg dry weight.

But I already taking in fluid very limited. According my treatment programm I can gain 4% of dry weight. It's about a 2.5 kg. My weight gains always less than 2 kg.
I told my doctor about swelling and it's answer was "dialysis don't affect on sight". I have cronical eye desease long before CKD. It's called distrophia of eye nerve. It is slow developing desease and haven't changes during last year.
Of course most clinics are not open on Sundays. This gives you the typical 2-day gap between treatments, Sunday and Monday.....not 3 day gap. Since you are doing dialysis on Saturday and again on Tuesday it's considered a 2 day gap only. Try to engage in conversation with your doctor about the swelling. It's natural for fluid to gravitate towards extremities during day . Then when asleep or laying down any extra fluid settles back into normal spaces like around eyes. It's different for everyone. You may need to adjust your target weight by lowering it. Do this by lowering in small increments of 1/3 k (300) for a week of txs. Of course discuss/consult with dialysis team first. Blessings
I using evening session of dialysis which starts at 6 p.m. In this way I have almost 3 days pause between saturday and tuesday. It seems you were right about dry weight. I tried to increase dialysis dose on 300 ml extra and it went well. Swells become little easier. Probably I losing weight again. Also I noticed when I using ibuprofen it have positive effect on swells.
I get swollen eyelids, too and I've had a transplant. I just put cold water on my eyes when I first get up and they usually go down during the day. It doesn't sound like you're taking in too much fluid, but I agree you should tell your nephrologist and get your eyes checked. That third day after the weekend is tough when you're on hemodialysis and your fluid and toxins build up regardless of how careful you are. Sometimes I would ask for an extra treatment during the week if I had difficulty getting down to my dry weight with the three sessions. And don't forget, you dry weight can change over time if you gain or lose weight. You can talk to your nephrologist about that. Good luck to you!
