GoFundme or...?

Thanks to my medical issues, my family has many financial troubles. I'm young and unable to help in certain needed ways. But I was wondering if anyone has ever used a GoFundMe or another type of financial help? And if it was helpful at all?

I did! It was helpful for getting my donor out to my state to do further testing, as well as for her travels for pre-op & surgery itself.

I wasn't too much older than you are now when I was diagnosed, and it's hard being young and living with chronic illness. Please know that you are worthy of love and support. My inbox is always open if you need someone to talk to ❤️

Thank you, OperationKidney for telling me your experience. It's nice to know other people have similar situations to mine, as horrible as that sounds. And honestly, I might just take you up on the offer to talk. If that's okay. We'll see. I really appreciate you replying to me.

I think a GoFundMe could be useful for you...explain your situation and people can donate if they want and sometimes someone can recommend other good options too...I would let my family know that you would like to do that first and ask if they have any objections..Best wishes for you...
