Hello my name is Briana and I am considering doing hemodialysis at home. I live in a apartment and l hear that after your done with your treatment there is trash which may contain blood. How do you dispose of a bag with blood if you live in an apartment. Is there a specific way of doing this? I'm new to doing dialysis at home. All tips and advice will be appreciated.

Fresenius is now supporting solo home HD with this machine. I haven’t seen anyone participating in this forum that is doing solo HHD though. I would like to hear personal experiences with solo HHD ...

Whatever dialysis company your with should have a service that will pick up your biohazard box at least the company that I work for does.
Hi there, Have you ever thought of doing PD Dialysis instead. I think it’s much easier then dealing with needles. I’ve been doing it for 2 years and love it. Just a thought.
