Unable to walk nor eat with PD

I tried PD before. But the first week that I tried, I couldn't eat nor could walk, I didn't know why? so I changed to hemodialysis, Can any body tell me why?

I can't really say anything about the inability to walk, but I totally understand no being able to eat. If you had a carry, fluid you carried inside during the day, then you probably felt perpetually full. For me it was almost impossible to eat because when I tried I'd get nauseous. I learned to snack rather than eat meals like I used too. I still snack to this day, many years later, lol.

When I first tried to do PD, because at that time I had mental issue, so it was so overwhelming for me, I couldn't handle it all by myself alone in the house, no support, plus no can eat, I called the PD nurse at least 10 times a day, so she withdrew me from PD, said that I was not fit for PD. I am glad you still on PD and good that you can still eat something, I'm on Hemo, this is my ninth year now.
