Hi there. For starters, thank you everyone who has been so informative, supportive, and sharing their stories with me the last few weeks. It really put the fight back in me.
I talked to my doctor about starting an S2 Inhibitor; he said he is willing to discuss prescribing it but he says they typically do not prescribe until a patient's UACR is over 300, mine was 61, but he wants me to meet with a nephrologist first to see if this would be an appropriate prescription. I have my appointment with a nephrologist July 3rd. What is everyone's thoughts? I've read an S2 Inhibitor in the early stages can be greatly beneficial but I do understand my doctor's reservations.
