Fascinating article on Japanese tech that makes you think you are eating food saltier than it really is. The Japanese diet is loaded with salt, way more than the US. Instead of trying to change the palate of millions, a company has found a way to make people feel and think they are eating more salt than they actually are.

Because of my high output ileostomy I NEED salt and potassium, so they aren't issues for me like they are for most with CKD. But this is indeed revolutionary.

I need that, I have PKD but I'm a salt-aholic! I love that stuff, cutting it out has been so hard
