anyonne here use splenda?i havent seen anything about kidnneys with it but i wondered where it ranked among sweeteners as far as the kidneys go?

NO Splenda. I use Sweet Leaf which is stevia.

Anything that is not sugar and has additives is "artificial" sugar.... or sweetener. Stevia is the most natural, but it is what is added to it to make it useable that makes it artificial..... like the inulin and silica. You do not find anything other than sugar in sugar. They are all sweeteners.... honey which is not artificial.... it is natural and no additives. Sugar cane or molasses is natural unless it has additives.

I try to not use any of those artificial sweeteners. I use agave syrup in my coffee. Otherwise I only drink water.

Yaw this is serious stuff. Just sayin. I worked with a nurse that worked in a dementia type facility. She said the one common denominator was intake of artificial sweeteners

Ive Used the Splenda/Sugar mix in my one daily coffee as well as morning oatmeal for years. Never had a probllem. I'm at GFR 3b and all electrolytes and glucose are in normal range.

If I need to use sweetener, I use Splenda. Everything else gives me some kind of problem.
