Have your say on expanding medication options for CKD

Hi All,

If anyone was adversely affected by the FDA's shock decision to reject Tenapanor as a treatment option for hyperphosphatemia, please use the link below to send your comments to the advisory committee that will be reviewing Tenapanor on November 16th. A lot of patients can't take phosphate binders for one reason or another and many were shocked to see the FDA reject this drug which has been proven in many many trials to be safe and having similar efficacy to phosphate binders. If you or a loved one were impacted by this decision by the FDA, now is the time to have your voice be heard. With sufficient support from doctors and patients, the hope is to have that decision overturned and get this drug approved. All the best.

Appreciate the notice. My hubby had a hard time taking phosphorus binders. I didn't realize this was an option.
