Does anyone know why sometimes there are a lot of bubbles in my urine but other times there are none? Thanks

Bubbles in urine
There is a supposed connection to protein loss in urine to bubbles and foam. I think often, it is the pressure of how hard you urinate that creates it and also if there is soap residue from cleaning the bowl. It is not a pure science to say foam and bubbles mean anything.
It can mean you are spilling protein. Have you talked to your doctor about this?
Yes I have bubbles in my urine. I do have protein spillage which my nephrologist checks on. I watch my protein intake and drink lots of water. I'm stage 3b.
A 24-hour urine test is the best way to test overall protein in urine.
Just as a head's up, bubbles don't mean nearly as much as the time they take to dissipate. If you're not spilling protein in your urine, they'll all have popped within just a few minutes. If you wanna see some REAL protein bubbles, watch the faucet stream as it hits the bowl you just scrambled your eggs in.
Get yourself some urine analysis dip sticks from Amazon. They are under £10. They will tell you if you have protein, blood in your urine. They are quite accurate.
