Tiny veins and fistula?

I too have "tiny" veins. When it was time for me to start dialysis, the surgeon tried to make a fistula. It didn't work because my veins are so small. They wound up putting in an AV Graft. And a few months later I got called for my transplant.

Merry Christmas to you too! I actually had my transplant in 1999, so am 22 years and counting! Doing fantastic with continued stable creatinine of 0.9.

Fistula s are better than grafts. My veins were tiny too so I got an upper arm fistula.
