Normal:

eGFR NON-AFR. AMERICAN..... 60.00-200.00 ML/MIN

It seems yours would be normal?

That's a 30% reduction. I think that you need to discuss with your Doctor, especially any medications that you are taking.

I am sorry to hear that. Anyway, for about a year my father's GFR has been between 30 and 20. Since reading a book about a natural program for reversing kidney disease, his last two visits to the Nephrologist the number has been 45. He told him about the program and the book, and asked the doctor if he knew about it – he said he had never heard of program, but if it’s working he should keep at it! He told the doctor that he had no intention of stopping it.

Hb1ac is a blood sugar level test not kidney - your result is fine

dehydration physical exertion and excessive protein are the usual culprits. If none of that applies you talk to a doc

Sorry for the late response jox1 I had to call my dad regarding the name of the program. But he just sent me the link to the site where you can check the program. It is allowed to put some link here? Or maybe I will send it to your email.

You should be able to link it here - as long as admin approve the source

Please know that are several things that can effect your eGFR as well as your creatinine and BUN. If you were dehydrated. Maybe the day before you were very active, exercised and didn't replace your fluids. Sometimes, even slight dehydration can effect your results. Strenuous exercise can put added stress on your kidneys and can cause your eGFR to fall. Maybe the night before you were tested you ate a protein rich meal. That can also influence your lab values.I would talk with your doctor about these results. Maybe your eGFR could be rechecked in another 2 weeks. Just make sure you drink enough water, no strenuous exercise, or a heavy meal the day before.

If you are diagnosed with a kidney issue, your doctor also would be looking at your creatinine, BUN, potassium, phosphorus, RBC, WBC and checking your urine for protein, albumin, rbd, wbc, etc.

Best of luck!
