Did they advise you of what your GFR (Glomular Filtration Rate) is? From this you would be able to determine what your level of Chronic Kidney Disease is or if you have Chronic Kidney Disease. Please keep us informed.

Please know that CKD is usually diagnosed over time. A one time test can be influenced by not being hydrated, exercising a lot, having a rich protein meal, etc., the day before the blood test. Usually blood and urine tests are done over time and doctors look at the trend. One test does not CKD make!

Have your PCP order repeat blood and urine tests and have him compare results.

Best of luck to you.
