Stress of online shopping

Is anyone else finding it difficult to get the everyday shopping online (I am stage 4 CKD). The government haven't added CKD to the list of extremely vulnerable people and therfore I am unable to get priority online supermarket slots. Supermarkets have had to reduce when you can even book a slot and then when I finally find one there is a lot out of stock even if I have previously put it in my basket it then becomes out of stock. I am hoping the bulk buying will eventually stop and it will become easier.

Sometimes I cannot get all the items I order online for pick up. I agree that hopefully things will settle down after panic buying lets up and stores will have restocked.

The only problem I'm having is that the stores have set up hours for senior only shopping and their delivery people aren't there by that time or they get their deliveries the next day. Either I have to go on a day and/or time not set for seniors. It kind of defeats the purpose of setting up a senior day and time.

I’m not sure where you are but since our lockdown the stores aren’t as busy early in the morning and now our governor has made it so they have to actually limit how many people are inside. Good luck.

Our Instacart system literally is unavailable for pick up or delivery because they are so overwhelmed. So I had to go in. It wasn't bad and I was careful to fumigate after. But I would prefer to use the pick up service. I did not get everything I ordered and the lettuce was beat.
