Been on dialysis for almost two years, worked through 1 -1/2 years of it. Suddenly getting negative UFs. Any remedies or what may cause it?

What are UF's?

Hey Marvin! UF stands for “Ultrafiltration”, and it is the process of filtering fluids by dialysis. (I looked it up.) But that’s all I know. 😊👍

Hello Cjkd. I feel terrible for you, but I don’t know much about dialysis, truthfully, and though I’ve tried looking it up, I couldn’t find anything that explained this issue. Perhaps your your PCP or your nephrologist could offer you a reason for the negative UFs. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful to you.

I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, certainly. Please keep us posted on your doctor(s) findings. I hope they can remedy this somehow, for you. God bless. 🙏🙂
