I would sincerely like to thank everyone who reached out to me and gave me awesome advise. I was really down a few days ago , and you guys have been gifts from God. I know all of us can beat what ever health problems we have, we have each other in this forum. And I know personally with discipline I can over come ckd. And get my gfr up to normal. I have lost 15lbs in 1 month and I know that helps. I'm 99% vegetarian and I know with God's grace I , and everyone here alcan live long happy lives.

Thank you to all.

That's my daughter 😄

You are welcome. Glad this forum was a big help for your CKD journey.

So glad your spirits are improved, Ravi. Your adorable little girl's hair "do" is guaranteed smile worthy!

Wondering if your rapid weight loss of 15 lbs in one month had a bearing on how you were feeling earlier? Just be careful about losing too much weight too fast.

Thanks for your lovely post.

Hello. I felt very weak when my first nephro put me on such a strict diet. I felt that though , I was losing weight I felt extremely miserable, headaches, stomach aches, nausea . I feel that had a lot to do with my mood swings. Though there are days that I would question myself and say why didn't I control my diet when my creatinine was 200 now it's 400 plus. And this gets me down . I'll be brutally honest , I always need encouragement.

Thank you guys. You're all a big help. Feeling down today my cousin 54 years old died suddenly of pneumonia, heart/ kidney failure. Started from a cough. Though we were never close it just scared me that I have ckd . I really am frightened today.

Verse of the DayJohn 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

I'm praying for you today,

You will be fine. Don't go too fast with the weight loss. Steady does it. One day at a time.
