Thank you all so much for the feedback. Just got back from the Doctor. She put me on Hydrazine 10mg 3 times a day. Took me completely off the norvask! Thank God. I’m praying this Hydrazine will be the answer. As this is the 3rd BP meds we have tried. First was lispronil then norvasc & now Hydrazine. She wants to start with three times and day and then go to two times a day hopefully.

I hope the Hydralazine works for you. One word of caution. Your doctor has started you on a very low maintenance dosage. When my cardiologist started me on Hydralazine he started with a low dose, twice a day. He kept increasing the med until he felt we found the correct dosage and frequency. I did ask what the max dosage and frequency was and he said that he felt 100 mg and three times per day would be the max.

If Hydralazine is the right med for you just be prepared for some changes to get you to the correct dose and frequency.
