One review on Amazon:

"This product contains the following useful ingredients in each capsule:

Juniper berry.

[...]

Parsley root.

[...]

Marshmallow root.

[...]

Goldenseal root.

[...]

Uva Ursi leaf.

[...]

These all may help promote a healthy functioning kidney.

It also contains Lobelia herb, which does not help the passage of kidney stones, and may be more harmful than good overall. But for this substance, this product would be 5 stars."

Or views on any other useful and effective supplement for CKD (I am Stage 3a)? Thanks all!

In my opinion, this product does exactly what it's manufacturer intended. It puts your hard earned money into their pocket. There are no magic potions out there to slow CKD or cure it. It takes a combination of diet (kidney-friendly meals), exercise, watching your medications (including vitamins, supplements, etc.), staying on top of your labs and being proactive regarding your health and your Care Team working with you all the way.

The use of herbal supplements is unsafe if you have kidney disease since some herbal products can cause harm to your kidneys and even make your kidney disease worse. I would recommend that you discuss this with your physician. For more info visit: kidney.org/atoz/content/her...
