Life after hitting goal

Life after hitting goal

Hi all, been a few weeks since I posted, I hit goal in April which felt fantastic. Heaviest weight was 149lbs back in 2015, goal was to get down to 133-136 range. I actually dropped slightly below goal the week of my wedding two weeks ago, which is when I started packing for honeymoon and decided an "after" selfie was due! Now hands in the air, I've been happily guzzling alcohol and stuffing my face at every meal since then, we have two more days on honeymoon and I am still living it up, starting to worry about the scales when I get back but you only get one honeymoon right?! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿธ Will re-join next Tuesday's weigh in and will take the gain and detox for a week or two. Then will be looking to settle into the maintainers club, don't want to undo all my hard work so any tips from successful maintainers would be very welcome! Big thanks for everyone on this forum who helped support me on my weight loss journey, especially my old jogging buddy Ruth Canal Runner :)

  • Oh my word, food_lover!! Look at you!! Fandiddlytastic!!! ((((((WOLF WHISTLE)))))) :)

I'd be over the moon to be anywhere close to your before picture and I'm going to tag Ruth_canal_runner, because I'm sure she'll be as impressed as I am! :)

Enjoy the rest of your honeymoon and we'll see you at the weigh-in next Tuesday!

Congratulations for your stunning transformation and your recent nuptials :)

  • Good morning Moreless, how are your feet today.

I managed to get fresh duck eggs yesterday.

I will , if you are happy I will record all food and drinks for the day.

So far a cup of tea.

Have to wait for 1 hour before any food, antibiotics.

    Enjoy your day.๐Ÿ™‚

  • My feet are getting there George, thanks for asking :)

I would love you to record all your food and drink today, but do it on the Daily Diary thread, won't you, because we don't want to hijack poor food_lover's thread :)

  • Brilliant! You look great and you're probably the only one of us on here who is brave enough /slim enough/ young enough to post a bikini shot.

Well done to you and happy honeymoon ๐Ÿ˜Š

  • Well done on reaching your goal for your wedding and also deciding to come back to the forum with a plan of action after the honeymoon :) You look amazing by the way!

  • Congratulations on your wedding and your weight loss success! You look really slim and pleased you're having a fabulous time. I will be hosting the maintainers club in June so look forward to seeing you there.

  • Hi food_lover,

Wow, you look great! Hope you're enjoying your Honeymoon - Congratulations!!! :-) Brilliant that you're going to be settling into the Maintainer's Club, and we'll look forward to having you on board with us. :-)

    Zest :-)

  • Yay look at you! You totally did it! I bet you felt amazing at the wedding and no wonder you let your hair down on the honeymoon. I miss our runs! Still think of it when I cycle through Victoria Park. You will be absolutely fine when you stand on those scales. You have such a positive attitude, and a big part of maintenance is how you react to these mini gains (i.e. head in sand doesn't work, but also knee-jerk panic isn't great either!) Look forward to hearing more on the maintainers catchup, and congratulations :)

  • Oh wow, what a slim waistline. I can only dream of one of those. When I gain weight is all sticks to my belly, I have no defined waist

:-( You look great. Congratulations and welcome to the Maintainers' Club.
