Hi there everyone
I joined this group yesterday after a new determination to lose the extra 10 kgs that have crept on over the past 5 years, since working in a more sedentary role and reaching menopause. I am determined to not only stop the creep but get rid of the extra 10 kgs. I live in a beautiful part of NZ where walking gives me enormous pleasure and also relaxation from a challenging job as a social worker. I walk most days for at least 40 mins and swim all through summer - autumn too. I swam this evening in the sea!
I have never thought about counting calories before but today I was mindful of everything I ate. I think my biggest challenge is going to be cutting right back on drinking wine. I had no idea the calories that are hidden in a glass of wine.
