OMG! How could you not fall in love with that adorable cutie?!
Don't they look innocent and vulnerable? Lovely creatures.
Just 2kms again for today Thursday 28th.
Hi All sorry have been away for a few days nothing exciting only work kms as follows monday 2.50km tuesday 5.77 km wednesday 4.36km did try and reply to the message and thought i did but when i looked it had disappeared lol x
This site is responsible for a lot of strange happenings Es!
Glad to have you back with us and thanks for all your K's, they'll come in very handy
Oh how sweet, I could definitely give him a big cuddle. Many thanks for the constant illustrations for our trip Lizzy and for keeping us all on our toes. I'll report my km total for today later.
Have a nice afternoon.
Must have a bike ride to Tebedu while we are here see how much it has changed in the last 40 years.
Tried something new today I think its called walking, I'll be back on bike tomorrow. 1000 steps oh the pain.
Ok, so I'm hopping about with excitement today, because my bike and I have been out on the open road!! I only had to get off twice to push it up hills that were beyond my legs and my command of the gears! I didn't even panic when I was overtaken by a tractor pulling a trailer! AND I didn't fall off! My legs were a bit rubbery when I got off, but had settled down after the dog walk. The initial plan was to cycle home again, but that seemed a bit daunting, so I'll save that for another day Can life get any better??
Cycling - 8K's
Walking - 8K's
Rowing - 1K
Total - 17K's
Hope everyone else is having as good a day
Yay Moreless !!! Way to go 🚲🚀
The way you're going you'll be cycling around the world soon 😁
So pleased you finally got that bike out, you had to wait such a long time!!!
I do really miss cycling, but the Dartmoor Hills are just beyond my ability and enthusiasm.
Your legs will get used to it in no time (weather depending) or else you have to replace the wheels with floats and rotating paddles 😉
Could be the option for winter ?!
Anyway, well done 😊
Thanks Elissy - the simple pleasures in life!
It would be great to get more than one fine day at a time! If it's another 3 weeks til I can get out again, I'll never get my legs strengthened
I know, had I dry day today but the rest of the forecasts are wet 😞
You seem well prepared though with a rowing machine and your bike stand. Not the same, but better than nothing 😁
Wow moreless you have been a busy girl, your numbers are fantastic. Like I have said before you are on fire mrs
smokin hot!
Well done my lovely x
It is really exhilarating out on the open road and I am sure you will be working different muscles and benefit from more calories being used up. Keeping the bike upright without the stand, controlling the handlebars to keep you straight etc. All good stuff. WELL DONE!
who said you could use my picture lol
Come on Shogg - pls join our challenge 😊😊
oh sorry i have not posted any kms since saturday, i have not done any exercising so did not think i needed to, Felt a bit stiff to be honest, i think i overdid it initially after so long without doing any exercise determined to start again tomorrow!
How fab is he! 😃
Had a good day did 10.7kms, two walks with my boy Calvin🐾🐾 and a walk to the local high street for more cough/chest medicine .
Feeling a bit better but still taking it a bit easy, sorry !!!!
Can't wait for the next leg of our journey 😎
😇
2.7 km for me tonight - got a cold coming so I thought a walk will kill or cure it
I am away a bit next week - is it ok for me to post all my kms on one post when I can get online?
Lovely orangutan - can I have a cuddle?
Let's hope it's had the desired effect then Sueper
That's perfectly fine, as long as we know you haven't done a runner, we're happy
Take it easy Sueper,
I started with a heavy cold and pushed through not wanting to be a wimp but in hindsight I think it led to my chest infection 🤔
Have a nice time away😃
😇
Thanks Flossie. Hopefully I'll be ok but big walk on Saturday will be cancelled if I get worse. Got a week off work next week and don't want to be ill then!
Hope you're feeling better. It is hard succumbing to it when you're working hard to get fit!
Take care
Fabulous Concerned
12.1 km today. Seem to be settling in around that amount on a normal working day. Never been to Borneo. Are we going to an orang-utan sanctuary? Can I see the jungle? Oh, goody goody!
So after a full days rest yesterday I have made a come back and feel great for resting, the back is still not 100%, but I can live with it.
So today I have managed 4.7 kms walking and 13.35 kms running.
Happy travelling for me today
Wow T1, your running is coming on in leaps and bounds and to top 18K is phenomenal!!
Take care of that back and get yourself on a personal trainer's course
Ook!
I smashed through to my own personal best (only just back from the gym) - 20.07kms - how's about that then??
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
That's what I think about that! Fantasmagorical, splendiferous, magnificent, brill and not bad at all
LTL - you have been with us from the start and checked in everyday. Another reason we think you're fab.
And here are your impressive stats;
Week 1 - daily average of 8.66kms
Week 2 - daily average of 9.03kms
Week 3 - daily average of 13.35 kms
Week 4 - looking very good so far
No k s today. At uni all day.
Aqua, I'd like to show my appreciation to you, for always posting, whether you've clocked up K's, or not.
I LOVE YOU !!!
Me too 😊😊😊
6567 steps today bit better, missed walking the dog even though she can't go very far she still loves to go out☀️
Aw, just love them to bits!
Well I managed a walk this morning without the wellies. This helped reassure me they weren't stuck to my feet. The feeling was short lived as by afternoon the rain was back and the doggie walk on the moor required me to don the faithful wellies once again. This slowed progress and I fell short of my 10k target. Only managed 13228 steps, 8.8 kms 😢
On the plus side, no alcohol this week and trying hard to be healthy. Feeling positive. Love the support on here. 👍
Off now to hug an orangutan 😊
I had a short reprieve from my walking boots today and was able to wear trainers on my bike, however I still had to don the boots for the dog walk - waders may have been better!
You weren't far off your target and may be able to make it up at the weekend
Well done for your dry week so far, the longer you do it, the easier it gets
Great that you're feeling so positive, hang onto that feeling and the world becomes your oyster
Good Evening everyone
My km for today 6.3 km, a bit better than yesterday and yes moreless the cross-trainer in a cold garage did feel like torture compared to walks on the beach in the sunshine. Oh well, here's looking forward to our destination tomorrow and superb pics by Lizzy. Thank you all for a fabulous journey.
Oh dear mrsg, many congrats for suffering the torture chamber and clocking up an impressive number of K's
Thank you, I'm truly inspired by your achievements moreless you have so much determination and your km totals are fab. I'm going to keep at it, hopefully next time the cross-trainer will feel less like torture, I just need to get the tv fixed to distract myself.
Thank you mrsg, you inspired me with your kettlebell challenge I think that's what makes this forum so successful and Liz's challenge is the icing on the cake, she's a wizard at keeping us going and making it fun
I have to admit, there's absolutely nothing that could distract me from the torture of a cross-trainer! They're awful!
What a cutie he is!
Sorry for late submissions for Wed and today. Still really poorly but hoping am now on the mend.
have spent most of days sleeping catching up on the no sleep for 6 nights!
Poor figures but will make up for it when well - promise.
Wed 1. 1km
Thurs 1. 9km. x
Hi Asics, glad that you're hopefully now on the mend
We don't mind low numbers, but if you drop off the radar, we get worried as we don't know what's going on. A quick note is all we ask for
Don't go overdoing it, get yourself properly well first
1.6 km today feeling my mojos gone, need to sort it out!😁😁x
Oh Claire, I've been there and it's horrible!
Take some time to read through all the posts and see if you can get some motivation, then pledge a number of K's, in writing, where we can see it and then go for it and if you can't do it for yourself, start by doing it for us.
Remember, we need your K's, they're very important to us and I know you won't want to let your fellow travellers down.
You can do this Claire and have fun while you're doing it. I pledge to keep cheering you on
Thanks moreless I need all the motivation I can get at the moment. Got a busy day tomorrow but will try to get to 5km. Hope it's ok with fellow travellers if I pledge a number for a few days until I sort myself out x thanks for cheering me on x
We're all behind you 110% Claire! Woohoo, you can do it and we can help!
Evening fellow travellers
How cute is the orangutan?!!
Just back from swimming and have done 1.25 km. Also 2822 steps walked today. No exercise bike this morning, just didn't want to get up 😴 even though I had more sleep than usual!
Must try harder and will get my butt out of bed earlier in the morning!
Nic 😀
It's never as easy to get up when it's dark in the morning Nic, but set that alarm and jump out of bed as soon as it goes off. You'll actually feel better for it
Flying visit 😑 ☺ 9.4k run and 5k walk = 14.4k 😶🐨🐼🐖🐙🐉
I thought it was always a flying visit for a bat
Great run! Great walk and great total
Loving all the little creatures
Great result!
Lovely picture,Lizzy ❤
Todays total is 7.67 km. Loving Borneo and the safari - what a wonderful change from all the dancing and drinking 😉
Well done everyone and nighty night 🌙⭐❇
Well done Elissy
Yep, our livers are breathing a sigh of relief!
Evening all Thurs kms are me 9.3 -4.2 pottering and 5.1 walking my water babies - the wind and rain in West Yorks has been icy and relentless today :/ Jog-on on has been a bit too laid back today and his kms are 26.8 - 6.3 steps at work, and 20.5 kms spinning
I have a big grin on my face Kate - you are the master of understatement!
Anybody else that was posting those numbers, would be bouncing all over the place and screaming at the top of their lungs, but not you! I'm stunned!
Just wrote a long reply that disappeared!!! Could weep
Won't be doing much today as my chest infection is really taking a hold now - i'll try to get Ed to do extra
Going back to sleep now :/
Happy travels x
A 7km walk through a local NT property grounds. Kept a keen eye out for orangutans but sadly only spotted geese and squirrels. 😩 Pleasant outing nevertheless!

Wow Alan, you really are getting nimble! You've jumped right over here!
hi there if only that was true, i've got all on walking let a lone jumping, if i did that the earth would shake many thanks Alan
Evening all at one time today I feared I wouldn't make the 10,000 recommend steps on my Fitbit as I got a lift to work, however 7. 75km now from steps spin 13.4 and 18.4 total 39.6km if I could add up would have done more to bring it up to a nice round number😢
Sorry I missed yesterday! I did 1.6 km, office day.
I got 4.8 km today.
I am so glad we are in Borneo!!!! My friends son was there a few years ago visiting the orangutans and I was so jealous. My turn now 😀
7km for Thursday Lizzy. Not sure about the last few days so count it as zero.
7.3 km for Thursday. walking
2:3km I have really hurt my back and got sciatic pain, yesterday was a bad day and I couldn't get to work which never happens to me. Today I'm up and feel much more mobile so hoping to be able to get moving and log a few more kms! Happy Friday everyone
Hello one and all, just 4.1km yesterday, I had a 13 hr work day... Well done everyone and wasn't it amazing spending time with the orang utans!

3.16km for me, came home ill from work, seem to have picked up nasty virus. Have been in bed sweating and feeling nausea. Unlikely to do any today as feel bad.
Morning all from the very windy highlands,

Hi, 7.9k for Thursday. Love the orangutan, Borneo has always been a destination on my bucket list!
8.5kms for Thursday. I would have walked many more to see that lovely cute face!
what a sweet face, did 7kms yesterday but crosstrainer seems to be dying but just as I started to panic hubby seems quite keen on us sharing a rowing machine which is just as well as I am too broke to buy a new crosstrainer. loving the exotic pictures on these cold wet days
Only managed 1.5 km Thursday as not feeling at all well 😩
16788 steps = 12.56k
5.14k on stationery bike in gym (I used this as a warmup for my gym session)
12.56k on outdoor bike as it had been a bit neglected recently!
Total: 28.5k for yesterday
Hi fizzyliz. Another 4000 steps for me. Can you tell me how much that is in k's please? My walking round feels more like plodding at the mo but determined not to be beaten by this virus!!
3668 steps for thu and one hour of dancing
Well done Lizzie! Is your toe ok?
No, its not good I think it must be a mortons neuroma as well as the arthritic joint. It is so hard to get answers out of medical professionals but from my research, the symptoms fit that profile, hurt yesterday dancing and have another dance tonight and dancing holiday in April, have no idea how soon I can get it done or who will do it as they don't reply when you try and find out. It is a pain in more ways than one. However managed 8889 steps yesterday including the dancing ,remembered to wear the fitbit!! Are you using a rowing machine now? How are you getting on with the bike? I might clean mine up if the weather improves now I am lighter it should be easier on the bum!!
Hi Lizzie and all fellow explorers;
sorry I didn't post yesterday, was a very hectic day at work. and personally wasn't to good either. Managed 2km for 28th. will post todays later.
9.4 km for me Thursday.
will be no walk tonight as I'm going dancing. Friday flashback night with the girls. 70s, 80s, 90s music 😆
I hope you'll be wearing a fitbit, or the like when you're dancing! Think of all those steps!!
Have a fab time
