Hello Everyone, I have one of these Spiralizers and find it absolutely brilliant. They can be found on Amazon and ebay, not at all expensive. Making my own veg spaghetti is cheaper and fresher. Thought this might be of interest in our quest to lose those pounds.

I was thinking of buying one too , is it easy to use Marianne? does it take lots of cleaning and putting together , sounds lazy I know but I quickly lose interest if it is a pain to use!!!
Hi, Midnight-munchie, I find it easy enough to use, the blades just slide in and you turn the handle to create the spaghetti. I found just rinsing under the tap removes any pieces trapped. Im not one for too much fuss!
Hi Marianne thank you for posting this as i am thinking of buying one, can you tell me what make the one you bought is or is it just called a spiralizer? x
Hi dias, mine is just called spiral vegetable slicer I bought it from ebay. I now know that Salter make one also. It says on box it can do carrots, cucumber, cabbage and many more.
Hi Marianne, good suggestion, I have just ordered one along with a recipe book. Always liked the idea of veg spaghetti but those you buy are never fresh enough. Something new to revive my cooking, thank you!
Hi StefanIax, can you tell me which recipe book I'd love to know more ways to utilise this. I've found buying the veg does not last long and it's great to make it fresh. I have used the hand one but it is not as good as this. Ha ha I don't have shares in any company making these!!
Sorry to hear you've a bit under the weather. Hope you feel better soon. Hopefully the weather will begin to brighten up too as we get closer to Spring.
