Yo Yo Dieter

Hi all ,

Help required

I am a yo yo dieter, I lose a nice load of weight then stupidly put it all back on again and more, and am so so annoyed with myself.

I am not too bad during the day, it is the evenings that are my downfall,.

I am a chocoholic and have chocolate cravings, eating chocolate every day, and can very easily go though a couple of bars, it's like I can't stop. I have tried not buying it, but I just don't seem to have any will power, and I will go out in the car to the nearest shop to buy it.

I am keen to try this weight loss programme.

I want to try to lose weight and any help, hints and tips will be gratefully appreciated.

Funnily enough I just posted about snacking. Could you substitute the chocolate you choose for dark chocolate? I bought some Lindt dark chocolate and chilli - its a really intense chocolate hit so 2 squares is enough and only 100 calories. Or things like milky bars, curly wurlys and fudge bars and low cal but still a sweet treat. Alternatively you could get some Options or Cadburys highlights - low cal hot choc. That way you feel like you're getting a treat but with less of the calories. Just don't eat the whole pack! If you do follow the NHS programme you will find your sweet cravings lessen (i have the same problem) as the recipes are filling and satisfying. Healthier snacks like dates and dried cranberries can also help. Good luck!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, trouble is I know I wouldn't be able to stop at 2 squares,or one curly wurly, but I really fancy the idea of the low cal hot chocolate, I am going to try that, thinking and hoping it might work. I will let you know how I get on
