I was extremely nervous, which showed up significantly in my heart rate and blood pressure, but that's me... I still did it πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»interestingly enough I weighed another 5lb lighter on their scales, so it wasn't all bad!!!!

Having completed the height, weight and blood pressure checks I did a 5 minute treadmill walk, repeated the bp and then used a few different bits of equipment. Then I go back on Thursday to have a session with the instructor and be given a personalised program 😊

I am feeling REALLY proud of myself and looking forward to this new beginning πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

It sounds like you're being led through it all really well. Hope you start to be less nervous and can really settle into enjoying your personalised programme - woop! Good luck for Thursday :)

Thanks Ruth 😘 I think I'm going to love this!! They were all really supportive and encouraging. The monthly payment also covers all exercise classes and swimming too, so I'm going to make the most of it πŸ‘πŸ»

Thanks trafford1 - I am really looking forward to some 'me' time ... I think I've only been swimming on my own (without the children) once on the last 12 years .... What a treat to be able to work it in to my weekly program πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
