You can view the 2014 film Carb Loaded for free at the moment online, it's quite a good film aimed at the Layperson and explains a lot about metabolic health in an easy to follow format. I actually won a competition to watch it at as a premier along with a pack of goodies when it was released last Summer.

I recommend watching it even if you don't buy into the whole idea that carbohydrates cause issue in lots of us as information is knowledge, and it's Free at the moment, so all it takes is an hour or so of your time, at the end of which you should be far more informed :)
