Since starting this 12 week plan on wed and adding the app my fitness pal to my smartphone im really starting to count the cals . As im a big guy im starting my cardio workout today on the treadmill at home and hoping for a 300 cal deficit for my excersize . My question to you guys is my treadmill will say ive lost 300 cals but as im 19s 10 in real terms will my cal loss be higher . Thanks hope you can help and wish me luck.

The myfitnesspal app works out how many calories you burn over your exercise period based on your actual weight. It may be worth entering a few times into the app and see how long you need to walk to burn the 300 calories. You may just need to adjust the time or speed as you lose weight.
