Hello tpwhitling,

As this is really a site for things NHS, which the great majority of us rely on us for our health care, this might not be the best place to be asking your question.

There isn't an abundance of private health care in UK, which, as a UK citizen you probably know from the days when you were resident.

And you probably won't qualify for NHS non-emergency treatment as an ex-patriate unless you reside here for a few months first.

But why not go and get a temporary resident's appointment at your nearest GP surgery, as you are probably still entitled to do that, unless for some reason you have never lived here. And if that's the case, what about asking for a private appointment with the same GP practice. GPs do often give private consultations too, for a fee, and maybe that same GP could give you the advice about private care that you are seeking.

I think your mistaken in your assumption of what this site is for.

You are mistaken, this is not mainly a thyroid site and neither is it mostly women. otherwise you are correct.
