Is this a new trick the nhs has come up with I had two appointments at the BRI. Bristol tomorrow they have just phoned to tell me that there will be a long delay by up two hours plus, as this was to see the consultant and the second a pre op I had to cancel , by making me cancel does this help there numbers.

Its a bit late now, as I have just seen your message but What you should have done was turn up at the appointed time and sorted it on the day...with the help of PALS if necessary.
I believe so they also cannot adjust when make mistakes .They are also not allowed to cancel[ POLICY] if you bring & an appt forward .Yet who gets blamed and RATIONED ? And why does every hospital repeat tests as a matter of course. Surely not always necessary.
