Placenta inside of me...

I delivered a baby boy on 1st March 2016. After a natural delivery I had a Oxytocics i/v but the medical staff had some difficulties removing my placenta. A doctor came to exam me and he attended at removing placenta.

I have been discharged on 2nd March 2016 being told that is safe for me and my baby boy to go home.

On 9 March 2016 started to have a awful pain on my belly . I felt like giving birth once again. My husband had a look at my vagina and noticed something hanging out and loss of blood.

We went to the A&E Emergency Department at around 4:30 pm. Between 6-7 pm a doctor examined me noticing the same thing, something hanging out from my vagina but the doctor “had no idea” what it was and she called at the Gynecology Department. Nobody came until about 10 pm.

A doctor from Gynecology Department examined me and tried to remove what was inside of me. After failing to complete the procedure the doctor called her superior and decided to keep me in the hospital over night whit intention of taking me to a scan next morning.

On 10 March 2016 around 11 am I had a scan. During the scan I have been told that the thing inside my body looks to be a large piece of tissue and they need to remove it by surgery.

I went into surgery around 7 pm having a full anesthesia. I woke up 2 hours later after the surgery. I have been taken to my room about 20 minutes later.

Until next morning I had no idea what so ever about the surgery, what exactly was inside of me. Neither my husband who is next of kin wasn’t been informed exactly about the whole situation, before ,during or after the surgery.

All we’ve been told before surgery that there is something inside of me that need to be removed and after the surgery we’ve been told that the surgery was been a success and there is nothing to worry about. No other information.

In the morning of 11 April 2016 the doctor that proceeded the surgery came to my room and asked me if anybody explained to me what exactly happened. I told him that nobody explained anything .After that he explain me that the procedure he made was a bit complicated then expected and that I suffered a blood loss of 250 ml and he removed a large piece of placenta and after that he discharge me at home.

As far as I can see not just my health but my life was at risk because somebody in my opinion made a terrible mistake.

Even now after 3 weeks since the surgery I don’t know exactly why did i and my family had to go thru all this pain ,stress ,panic and terrible moments.

I’m confused because on my discharge note from 2nd March 2016 it clearly says that the placenta was removed completely but I had to go thru a surgery 6 weeks later to remove a large piece of it.

Either way somebody forgot something inside of me and I’m not happy whit that.

What is your opinion about my situation?
