Not that I was aware of. However, I developed neuropathy around a year ago which was put down to the long term use of Citalopram. Apparently some anti depressants can cause this very unpleasant condition and Citalopram is one of them.

The Butruns pain patches can help with neuropathy but I dont know if they help with fibromyalgia. Your pain needs to be managed properly. Why don't you ask to be referred to a pain consultant at your hospital. They have an expertise in drugs and would help you manage your different types of pain.I really feel for you as pain of any kind affects our lives in so many ways.

Let me know how you get on and if you get answers.

Cheers, Chrys x

I have had all the drugs they can offer you and they only give short term relief, the but the BuTec keeps the burning pain away and helps me sleep,I still ache but I’m 74 and not very mobile. Thanks for all your help.

Oh dear, I wish I could wave a magic wand to help you. On a positive note, research goes on all the time and new drugs are found. Dont despair, let your doctor know how you are feeling. Dont suffer in silence, we only have one life. Unless you make your difficulties known he /she will believe you are managing your conditions well. Best wishes, x
