My blood sugars are at 6.9 yet my Neuropathy

My neuropathy is causing me to lose feeling in both my hands I get really severe cramping in the feet legs and yet my blood sugars they just checked her 6.9 which is absolutely awesome. But now the blood test also show there might be some sort of a problem with my heart or something to do with glycerin levels so I will see what happens with that and I am still a lot of pain. Lacking sleep and remaining as positive as can be. I hope you all are doing well and I hope you all have a wonderful blessed day with the Lord watching protecting you amen 🙏

Thank you 😊 Idwilliams. Nice to make your acquaintance. CIDP! I will get that checked. My homecare R. N. has put me under wellness care so I got Occupational therapist, physio therapist, my Lymphedema nurse, and I am glad as I can barely move in morning and nights so short, days so long. I find the most difficult challenge is being left out of events, as it’s never planned with the consideration of the fact I like millions of others, have physical challenges cause of our journeys that each of must endure.

If it is CIDP there is a treatment called IVIG, which is incredibly expensive ($10,000 per course) which relieve a large amount of the symptoms. It cannot cure it but does help with the symptoms. of course I cannot say if you have CIDP, but from what you have said there are similarities

Wow ten grand! Yes I will definitely get checked out for it. I take Baclofen for my muscles as they feel like bricks and get sluggish and fatigued so bad some days. I recently had a bad fall on February 4th and I got a concussion, whiplash, hurt my lower back, and hurt my all ready 4x broken knee, bruised my ribs and hurt my all ready agonizingly painful hip that’s relentless. I am very unstable and unbalanced walking and because of the pain my legs give out after 10 mins of walking and I have to rest quickly because I have had many falls. I have concussion syndrome and Degenerative Discs Disease in my back, slipped disc and Scoliosis and before I had a Pituitary tumor the size of a walnut that was non cancerous, but messed up some chemical imbalance in my brain, so I take Pristiq for that, but they have to up it as I’m having cognitive problems, memory loss and well it’s hard for all of us on here fighting day by day, as tomorrow is never promised, as we battle our diseases with no cures and lots of obstacles and pain. I believe in prayers for others and hugs 🤗 and positivity and support for each other as that’s what this group is for to give each other support and compassion and understanding and knowing we’re not alone. A tablet answer is usually prednisolone taken in higher doses which isn't as effective usually but some do better on that than IVIG.

Cannot say this is what you have of course, but it does sound like some form of neuropathy and immune related.

Take as much care of yourself as you can my friend and I hope that you get answers soon

Awesome 😎 thank you my new friend💪🏼😃🤗 yes I was told a few months back when I was in kidney failure for a third time I was told I had Nephritis( Lupus) and yes my immune system is down as I get lots of colds and right now I’m allergic to the snow mold and the pine tree in my yard and that’s annoying lol 😂 I also had a 20 cm tumor in my abdomen, but was also attached to an ovary and went through treatments for a year and a half with 3month breaks in between and they did a hysterectomy so I’m on hormone therapy and from severe trauma I endured in the past my insides are so messed up. On th C. T. Scan it showed my abdomen is just full of adhesions and woven like a spider web all over the inside and I had an abdominal wall repair in 2009(my last surgery ever) and the mesh the surgeon put in is floating in my abdomen and I have such a huge hernia that has opened my abdomen up and all that’s protecting my internal organs is a thin layer of tissue so I have to wear what’s called an “ Abdominal Binder “. It holds my insides in. I have 2 torn shoulders many broken bones that should’ve had screws and plates put in, but they said I won’t survive any surgeries so they will only do surgery if it’s imminent life threatening then it’s truly in the lords hands. The worst part is my G. P. I recently found out, hasn’t been telling me how bad I really am, but my homecare Nurses are excellent and compassionate and caring and always watching out for me. We all just go one day at a time! One step at a time. You know! I have made some great friends on here and it’s so nice to talk with all of you, as you all have respect and compassion and support for each other and I don’t know about you, but that certainly makes a difference in my life as I recently fell into bad depression and didn’t know I was. I thought I was fine, but the nurses noticed it and are helping me. Thank God for wonderful nurses and wonderful friends amen 🙏

Yes it’s just too much sometimes so overwhelming I’m a survivor like millions of others and I have had medical staff and nurses say “I surprised you are still alive. “ I am here because of the grace of god guiding me to fight hard, but my body tires from it.

I take Tylenol for Ostio and Calcium with Vitamin D and Magnesium for my Ostio. My near fatal closed head injury at age seven has brought on deficits that I’m having challenges with these days. But still this is an idea. I could practice on my sweet hubby first to see if I could do it.

Yes I just found out from my Nurse that I have Neuropathy throughout my whole body. That’s why even though my blood sugars are normal 6.9. That’s awesome I did that so I feel a great sense of accomplishment. However, it’s disturbing that my skin is on fire both hands numb so I use my microphone 🎤 when I text. My nurse coming today again she’s helping me with some medical stuff. I hope you’re doing well. God bless you amen 🙏
