Severe brain injury experiences?

My father had a fall on 7th March and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, he was put in a medically induced coma and had brain surgery to remove the subdural hematoma. He is in intensive care and we are in the early days of his potential recovery.

I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences of comas and brain injury in general.

Hi Daughter1995. I cannot offer personal experience but suggest that if you have not already, you also post/look for support in the 'Headway' hub on this site. There are lots of regular posters there who have a wealth of experience with stroke, induced coma, brain injury and recovery.

I am sure you will receive a lot of helpful replies!
