I have just had my appointment at Addenbrookes Hospital with Consultant, he is adamant that nothing can be done surgically for my pain.
There is now Multilevel small disc osteophyte complex resulting in possible left C7 nerve root irritation.
Mild wedge shaped deformity of T8 vertebral body, with 10%-15% height loss, with no associated bone marrow oedema, indicating chronic compression.
At L4-5 there is a central and left-sided disc bulge that extends through the neural foramen and leads to left-sided foraminal narrowing but no definite nerve root compromise.
Degenerative change noted L5-SI with a central and left-sided disc bulge there is bilateral lateral recess narrowing with probable impingement on both S1 nerve roots.
These are extracts from the three MRI's. The Cervical and Thoracic MRI's were carried out March 2025 the Lumbar and Sacral June 2023.
I am now in a state of total despair, consultant seems totally disinterested, pain is horrendous in three areas of my spine, i literally do not know what to do or where to go.
