I’m so excited and shocked!!!

I did a clear blue test that came up pregnant 1-2 weeks

My last period started 4th July

I called my doctor but they are terrible and didn’t want to know.

I have no idea what to do next...

I’ve been taking pregnacare pre conception for a month... do I keep taking that? Or change to a different one?

If the test says I am... I am definitely pregnant?? I’m only 10dpo

I have no idea what is next....

Telling my husband will be first I think!!

So excited!!!

Carry on taking pregnacare but not the pre conception ones, you get ones to take during pregnancy. My doctors wouldn't give me a midwife appointment until 8weeks, maybe ask the receptionist if you can book an appointment for when you are 8 weeks. If not ask for the number for midwife as they take blood tests at 8 weeks which are very important.

If the test says pregnant then you are definitely pregnant.

Congratulations.

Woop!! Congrats!! Next step is to call midwife, docs won’t do anything. Midwife will book you in to see you at 8 weeks and will book your 12 scan for you. Enjoy xx

Congratulations!!!

Each area is different as to how they deal with things, with my first I phoned my doctors surgery & they booked me in with the midwife at around 8/9 weeks. Second time round it had changed & I had to fill in a form at my doctors surgery, they passed it on to the community midwife and she called me with an appointment. So just phone and ask what your supposed to do.

You don't need to spend lots on pregnancy vitamins. Supermarkets do their own version- pregnacare is expensive. The minimum you need is folic acid & vitamin d so if you want you can buy those separately for less than a £1 so you don't even need a full on pregnancy vitamin anyway- they made me feel sick x

Congratulations. I had to refer myself on my local hospitals website to the midwife. Didn’t see a doctor at all. I then got an appointment at 10 weeks x
