I am 39 weeks pregnant and getting bad headaches. I seem to wake up with them then seem unable to shift them! Have tried parasetamol but with little affect. Should I be worried about them?

39 weeks pregnant and having bad headaches
I remember experiencing really bad headaches with both of my pregnancies I dont think it's something to get too worried about but its also important to get your blood pressure monitored if you experience anything like blurred vision as a result of it.
I think the main reason of the headaches is pregnancy can cause our blood pressure and heart rate to fluctuate at times and therefore causes alot of head tension
As long as there was no major concerns at your last antenatal appointment everything should be fine, just continue to eat healthy and stay as hydrated as you can.

Hi there, severe and persistent headaches in late pregnancy needs to be investigated to be on a safe side. If you have not seen a healthcare professional yet then please call the Midwives . Wishing you well.
Firstly congratulations ... not long to go... whoop xxx
I would get checked out to be on the safe side, I ended up with a Migraine and it was a warning sign that I was getting pre eclampsia. I did also have swelling and my blood pressure went up too tho - it's probably nothing but just pop to get yourself a once over, it can't harm anything.
Good luck and congratulations on your new little arrival when they come xxx
