Tetanus Vaccinations During Pregnancy

I am now 17 weeks and I wanted to be sure in UK is there any tetanus vaccinations during pregnancy? In my country it is mandatory to have made the vaccination.

In the UK you have one as a small child and a booster later on, and then one more 10 years later which covers you for life. If you've never had a vaccination as a child, it's best to talk to your GP about it -they will have a nurse at your doctors surgery who can do vaccinations, if they think you need it.

I had my vaccines in my childhood. However, I think tetanus vaccines should be renewed in 10 years. I mean I am 30 years old and I shoudl renew maybe.

If you have 28 weeks whooping cough irs a combined vaccination.. I'm sure it also has tetenus in it

In the UK you have three tetnus jabs as an u can't, then a booster at about 16. After this, unless you have a high risk injury, nil else.

Childbirth is not a risk factor for tetanus in the West, but if worried talk it through with your GP.
